Saint Joseph School is proud to work with Junior Achievement of South Central Pennsylvania. This program provides financial literacy and workforce development programs to more than 35,000 students in grades K to 12 in South Central PA each school year. Junior Achievement teaches young people about money management and how business works.
Saint Joseph School introduced this important program in the Fall of 2012. Many parent volunteers have answered the call to come into the classrooms so that all students in K-8 can benefit. The lessons really help the students to get an idea of economics and business, and in addition to financial literacy, they cover the subjects of entrepreneurship and work readiness.
