August 20, 2021- Diocese of Harrisburg Reopening Plan 2021-22

When Pennsylvania schools closed on March 13, 2020 the hallways at Saint Joseph School were empty, but the learning never stopped. We began online instruction for preschool through eighth grade on Tuesday, March 17^th and continued through the remainder of the school year. This learning experience was a partnership between students and parents and speaks to the strength of the Saint Joseph School community. Our teachers tapped into their creativity to find new and innovate ways to keep their students learning through live online large and small group instruction, recorded lessons, and activities and projects to work on. Instruction took place Monday-Thursday with teachers available on Fridays for questions and extra help and for students to catch up on assignments from the week.
